The longest goodbye to the shortest time

Hello there!

Sorry for the delay in the final post, I did intend to post about the show but it turns out show days are very busy!

So the first show…
The show went really well considering we had only ran it three times before opening night (that’s what happens when you make a show in two weeks). The audience were very responsive which is always nice! The first show was useful as we could see areas that needed improving. For instance the ending needed work and the gifts that the audience received at the end of the show also needed some attention.

So work began on Friday 27th to tweak the parts that needed improving before the matinee at 2pm. This resulted in a much better show, to which the whole company agreed. The ending became much smoother and clearer and the gifts the audience received now heavily related to the show.

After the show we had a little break and then began the get out which was completed within an hour. We then did our final check out with Rachael, which was very tearful. There were talks of the possibly of touring and taking That Day, so watch this space!

For now we have arrived, but in time, we will have to leave again because you can’t stay forever.
